She Graduates

Skirt Custom Made by Taboka M, Ebay Vintage Shirt, Zara Shoes, Gogo Philip Bracelets

Hello! Today I graduated from UCA Epsom as some of you may know studied Fashion Management & Marketing - no I did not really learn anything to be perfectly honest,  interning, blogging and just keeping abreast with Fashion going ons taught me what I know. Fashion is an industry your always learning anyways be it learning to pronounce a brand name correctly to learning the history of brand or person  I swear by BOF (Business of Fashion) and try to keep a good balance of fashion-y folk on my twitter timeline. My best advice to those wanting to study any sort of Fashion degree just do a foundation and keep it moving, do not bother to a full degree.
Right moving onto more fluffly talk - MY OUTFIT! wanted to don all white but decided I'd mix it up with this 80s chain print shirt, lashings of Gogo Philip and the skirt is the skirt of my dreams - white leather (well faux leather) custom made by a young graduate designer Taboka M to see more of her work follow her on Instagram (Tabokamoffical)

Sidenote - actually began my day very early at Primark's AW13 press day a post about that will be up soon.

  9. As a current BTEC Fashion Business and Marketing student, I've been told to look at universities i'd like to apply for come this fall. I'm however in total two minds about whether you need a degree to work in fashion. I personally think its more about who you know and what you've learned through experience, so I've spent my time writing the odd article for online magazines, being trained as a visual merchandising assistant etc - all in a hope to find my niche. This post has really made me question if universities worth it after all. I've been in my current course and feel as though I've learnt nothing. Anyway thank you for sharing your advice and CONGRATULATIONS on graduating! Even if you feel as though it was time wasted, you should still feel so proud for passing!
P.S. I love your style and am about to follow you via GFC!
